After returning from office, I was cleaning up the house when the bell rang.
It was Kirty Vishal Ekka, my hubby, who had returned much earlier from office.
I took his bag and helmet from his hand and kept it in his room.
I asked him as to how come he was back so early?
He was smiling. He embraced me in his arms and said that, " I have something for you".
He asked me to lay down next to him and I did.
He told me to close my eyes and handed over an envelope in my hand.
To my surprise they were 2 plane tickets to Kerela and 2 tickets for camping.
I was filled with joy because this was the 1st time we were going hiking together. It was
like a wish come true. I had longed for this moment where we both husband n wife could spend some alone quality time together, away from fast city tired life. No phone calls, no internet, just him and me and filled with romance.
I immediately rang up my cousin Minakshi and told her about this news. I said, "Minakshi, Kirty said sorry to me, he said that I'm sorry for every tear I brought to your eyes. He said that he loves me and cannot live without me. He proposed me and asked me to marry him immediately. He has convinced his parents and we are better and very happy unlike before. He treats me like a princess now. He gifted me a plane ticket and camping ticket today. I'm so excited, He took me shopping for trekking shoes and camping stuff. We also bought a cute, blue tent and a fishing rod."
Minakshi was very happy for me. I also informed the same to Anthu. I hugged Anthu as I was over joyed.
